Personal Artwork

I love finding new ways to make art. I thoroughly enjoy pushing myself into new mediums and growing as an artist. Showcased below is some of the work I have done during my time at UIUC!

Synecdoche: Connection and Commitment Create Community

The imagery represents connection, commitment, and community through the symbolism across this large mosaic mural, spanning over 13 feet by 9 feet. The prairie serves as roots or legacy, the forest and agriculture as personal growth, the angular “house” pieces as community, and the river as connection to everything.

This mosaic is almost entirely made of repurposed and recycled material. It was an honor to help contribute to this project that lives in the Allen Hall Ceramics Lab at the University of Illinois.
